DOTTI's PLACE

To Deodorize -- Combine the juice of a lemon and a cup of water in a microwavable bowl. Place it in the middle and heat to boiling for 1 minute. Turn off oven and let the bowl stay for a while.

COFFEEPOTS -- To clean stains on glass or stainless steel coffeepots, make a paste of 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water and massage into the stains until gone. Rinse and dry.
To clean a Drip Coffee Maker, every few weeks, give the coffee maker a thorough cleaning by pouring equal parts white vinegar and water into the water reservoir and putting it through the brew cycle. Then repeat the brew cycle, but this time use clean water to rinse the machine.
TEAKETTLE -- To remove lime or calcium deposits, fill the kettle with 1 quart water and either ½ cup white vinegar or 2 tablespoons baking soda and 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. Boil for about 15 minutes. When cool enough, wash and rinse as usual.
